YOU'RE INVITED TO THE FAMILY DAY EXTRAVAGANZA EVENT!

You won't want to miss the second annual Family Day Extravaganza  in Mississauga! The event takes place on February 15th, 2016 at the Mississauga Convention Centre from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm. It will be a jam packed day of family shows and activities.

Back for the main event are the President’s Choice SuperDogs! The adorable acrobats will amaze you with their tricks, high-jumping and pole-weaving through obstacles, and playing Frisbee, hockey, and more!

You'll love Q-Mack, the host of the Family Day Extravaganza in Mississauga. His high energy performance will captivate kids and parents alike. The show includes dazzling basketball tricks, juggling, magic, balancing acts and features Canadian Beatboxing Champion, J-BOX, the master of 300 sound effects! Safari Science will also join us with their reptile friends from around the world for 3 interactive family friendly shows. You’ll see and touch snakes, lizards, turtles, tree frogs and more. There will be more amazing acts that will generate smiles for the whole family!

Kids will have hours of fun in the Fun Zone sponsored by Spirit of Math, complete with bouncy castles, superheroes, princesses, interactive exhibits, face painting, balloons, treats and more.
Fair favourites, such as popcorn and cotton candy, will be available for purchase.

SHOP LOCAL BURLINGTON CRAFT SHOWS

One of the best places to shop for unique holiday gifts is at local Burlington craft shows. You can find jewellery, food items like chutneys and jams as well as sweet treats, handmade holiday and home decor and so much more.  We definitely recommend picking a show or two to attend and see the amazing talent that comes from right here in Burlington and our surrounding communities.

Find yourself a new mug for your winter hot chocolate or maybe some stocking stuffers for the kids!

Burlington has many holiday activities for families and we hope you are able to enjoy all that is offered during this time of year and have some fun.

BURLINGTON DANCE STUDIOS

Things to consider when you are looking to register your child in one of Burlington's Dance Studios include:

• Cost of dance classes
• What age can children begin dance lessons
• Are costume fees extra on top of tuition
• Is there a viewing area to watch the class
• How long is the program (full year or a 12 week term?)
• What types of dance classes are offered - jazz, acro, ballet, tap, etc
